These terms govern your use of www.comptech-lab.com ("the site"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms govern access to the site only. Contractual terms for engagements, services, deliverables, and any data processing are set out separately in the relevant engagement contract.

1. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its underlying infrastructure, or any related systems;
  • introduce malicious code or content;
  • scrape or systematically extract content other than for ordinary indexing by reputable search engines and AI assistants;
  • use the site to send unsolicited communications or to impersonate any person.

Vulnerability research is welcome under our responsible-disclosure path. Please do not perform active testing against production infrastructure without prior authorisation.

2. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the site — including text, images, diagrams, code samples, logos, and the CompTech Lab brand — is owned by CompTech Lab or its licensors. You may view, share, and reference the site for non-commercial informational use. Republication or commercial redistribution requires prior written permission.

Third-party trademarks (Red Hat, OpenShift, NVIDIA, Cisco, HashiCorp, WSO2, AWS, Microsoft, Google, and others) referenced on the site remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only.

3. Content accuracy & disclaimers

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate but make no warranty that it is complete, current, or error-free. Architectural descriptions, recommendations, and engagement durations are illustrative and should not be relied on as advice for a specific situation without consultation.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4. External links

The site includes links to external resources (the engineering blog at zeshaq.pages.dev, vendor documentation, regulatory bodies, etc.). We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompTech Lab will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with use of the site, including indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CompTech Lab is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Specific jurisdiction details are set out in customer engagement contracts.
